Great set but you get what you paid for,

I purchased this set hoping to recharge my AC system that was plugged from a bad drier. I replaced some hoses and proceeded to charge the system only to find out that the high side valve was leaking. The leak was slow but a leak nonetheless. I have returned the item and will probably try another one sold here on Amazon.
Good with one major drawback,

This gauge set is a good quality product. However it has one major drawback in my view. There is no purge valve or button for the vacuum/refrigerant (yellow) line. It would be perfect if it had one. Without it you have to purge the refrigerant line of air first and simultaneously connect it to the set. This can get excess refrigerant in the air or worse on your hands. but it is cheap and made well so overall it is a good buy.

If you are going to work on a/c systems, you need to know the working pressures on the high and low sides of the system. For the price of the gauges, you will save money in the long run without worrying about over or undercharging the system. Spend the money and do it right the first time,not just guessing how many cans you should add.

These gauges work as intended. But I am just a do-it-yourselfer so have no idea how they would be with a lot of use.
