not quite magical, but very close,
by Tugboat, 2010-08-03
I did two applications to the trunk of my wife's black car. It was scratched to death from who-knows-what, but this took the bright white scratches down to barely noticeable little, tiny ones that I can only see when I look for them. As the car gets dirty they do come back somewhat, but still a huge improvement. A nice thick coat of wax over the top helps a lot.
Excellent Product - Excellent Results,

I had a scuff mark, about an inch long, fairly deep in the finish of my 350z. I first tried "Scratch Doctor" with very little results. I then gave this product a try and WOW - the scratch was completely gone with just a few wipes.
I highly recommend this product.
Works on Boats!,
by Tritone, 2009-08-20
I picked this up at Pep Boys, and used it on my boat. The hulls were badly oxidized, and there were a lot of marks and scrapes. The lightly oxidized areas came back to life on the first pass, and the scratches and marks came off - no swirl marks.
It seems that the heavily oxidized areas would require several passes. So I'm going to order Meguiar's M0416 Heavy Cut Cleaner - thru amazon.com (nobody carries it locally).
This product worked as described. Recommended!
Not bad, not great !,

My cats scratched the hood of my Jeep so I decided to give good ol' Tutrle Wax a try. It covered 90% of the scratches and they are hard to see from a distance. The bad points are, you can still see the scratches up close and it brought out the pits where rocks have hit my hood, after 2 applications. I'm gonna try something else next time...any suggestions ?
Pure WOW factor!,

When i used to sell car spoilers, I saw the paintshop would use something to buff the painted spoilers to shine like a mirror. Sometimes I would go to a car wash and they would show something fancy that if I go for a detail wash which would cost about $79.99, the guy flipped out a bottle of magic lotion and rub it on my car and BAMM! the scuff marks would disappear. He said if I go for the $79 wash, he would find all of the scuff marks on my car and get rid of them for free. There was no way I would pay $80 for a car wash. So I came home researched online exactly what is the magic lotion used by the paintshop or the car wash. Sure enough, it's called rubbing compound. Without further delay, I ordered it on Amazon and it came in just a couple of days.
I immediately tried it on the scuff marks on the bumper and on the inside of the door handle where the rings and fingernails would scratch and result in thousands of black thin lines.
It literally disappears before my eyes. The scuff marks faded and disappeared after only a few rubs and the fine black scratch lines inside the door handles even though difficult to reach (using terry cloth with 2 fingers), I rubbed it and all 4 door handles are now shining as if they were new!!!
So there you have it, 5 stars, excellent product and company and shipping time. this is the best $8 ever spent on my car.
I guess you can reapply it once per year to keep the dealer shine all the time.
